WEA export consents approved between 1 October 2001 and 31 December 2001 under the previous export consent arrangements have been added to the short term column.Long term export consents are issued for a twelve month period and as such may extend outside the reporting dates.On occasion multiple exporters vie and seek export consents for the same business. As such, WEA approved tonnages are generally considerably higher than actual exports. Anomalies in the data may be as a result of any of the above notes, incorrect data entry into the ACS EXIT 1 system by exporters, or by exporter non-compliance with WEA consents
