WEA approved tonnages for niche export consents were issued for 12 month and 24 month periods from 1 January 2007. Consequently, niche tonnage approved by the WEA may not be reflected in this reporting period. On occasion multiple exporters seek export consents for the same business. Therefore, WEA approved tonnages may be higher than actual exports. Anomalies in the data may be as a result of any of the above notes, incorrect data entry by Exporters when interfacing with the Australian Customs Service, or by exporter non-compliance with WEA consents.
