Organisational Chart
WEA consists of a Chair and up to five Members, appointed by the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry for a period not exceeding five years.
The Members are assisted by a Secretariat which consists of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and approximately 12 staff. All employees of WEA are engaged under the Public Service Act 1999.
WEA’s budget for 2010-11 was $3.997 million. $2.172 million or 54% was allocated to accreditation related responsibilities. The balance is corporate services which includes ongoing accountability and reporting for compliance with major government policy and reporting requirements.
