WEA imposed conditions of accreditation
Under the Act, WEA may impose further conditions of accreditation which apply to all exporter accreditations.
WEA has imposed such conditions on all exporters which have been granted accreditation for multiple years.
These conditions have been imposed in order to monitor the performance of accredited exporters against the ‘fit and proper’ criteria required for the continuation of an exporter’s accreditation.
This has included such requirements as provision of:
- audited annual financial statements
- annual updated export proposal and financial facilities available to the exporter to conduct the export proposal.
There are penalties for non-compliance with conditions under the Scheme.
